Then it was standing there, like it has been for more than 400 years. Between me and the stars stood the cathedral. Since it’s standing right in front of my window, I never paid much attention to it.
But the thought that other men before me used to look at the same sky and wonder, and make religions to explain what they saw, and built temples & churches for these, stroke me. This is not just an ordinary building. I am not christian, but I felt vibes escaping from it. Just like I felt when I first saw a mosquee. It’s not about which God we believe in, it’s all about the faith. These buildings were built by faith, they’re reflections of the very heart of humans.
The bell tower blends naturally in the hills behind it. The stars disappeared as the electricity was back.
The bell tower was electrically lighted up again.
The feelings were gone.
