Jesus loves your (Christian) kid

Supreme Court helps your children’s education ! Only if your kid is put in a private Christian school though, would you receive $2500 in tax credits to put your kid in a private christian school, complete with vouchers and all kinds of Jesus imagery on the walls.
This is some nice case of conversion by money: no doubt many poor families with no real religious behaviour will think twice about sending their kid to public school, and will gladly welcome the aid to put their kid in private christian school instead.
In the meanwhile, if you’re not Christian, sorry. Your choice ? Putting your kid in public school, with all the other non-christian kids. And with more goverment money going to private christian schools every year, this can only help further the gap between Christians and others.
Good job USA, you’ve just found the best way to raise a Christian elite generation, leaving non Christians in the education mud.

Now, if this happened in a Muslim country, just how many would scream “you Islamic extremists” ?

  3. Very well put, Michel! I have nothing against American people, but I loathe their government and for a very good reason. Their double standard annoys me to no end.

  4. Even as a Christian, I find this disgusting. Although, probably for a different reason. I don’t like the idea of vouchers because I believe it ruins the integrity of private schools. Isn’t the whole reason you send your children to private school so you can get away from all this governmentally funded bullshit? Call me extremist, but I think the government is doing this to infiltrate Christian schools cause they think they’re teaching something that will come back later to bite them in the ass. (Can you tell I can’t stand the government?)
