lullabies

A search for the name of the band who made a cover of “Back In USSR”, that I only had as a ghost song on some parisian tv show’s soundtrack (Paris Dernière), yielded not only the band’s name (Baba Yaga) but also this gem: Lullabies from the Axis of Evil.

Lullabies from the Axis of Evil is a collection of peaceful songs from women in Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and other countries that we only hear from in negative ways nowadays.
These women’s voices are a soothing antidote to negativity, a glimpse of hope from the devastated lands. Listen to the mp3 samples, close your eyes, let those lullabies fly.
